Venturi is a flow measuring device used in Hot Primary Air Duct path before Mill Inlet to control mixed air flow to mill. Generally as many no of mills are constructed for power plant, the same no of venturies are installed in the duct path of hot primary air. There are 6 nos of venturi used in 270 MW coal fired boiler. The flow path inside one venturi is taken under observation. The Boundary Conditions are taken as field values.
- Mass Flow Rate of Mixed Air :- 23.42 Kg/sec.
- Medium Temperature :- 519 K.
- Pressure at Mixed Air Duct Inlet :- 700 mmWC.
- Pressure at Venturi Outlet :- 660 mmWC.
